The storm guardian was getting a kick out of Kyouya’s seething behavior. He was getting under the dark haired male’s skin. Hayato practically grinned in victory, he was pissing him off so badly — it was exciting. Nobody messed with the vongola boss, nobody. “You heard me. Make a mess of you.” He gritted his teeth and urged Kyouya to strike him, he knew how easily annoyed Kyouya got over something. Hayato jutted out his chin and a slight laugh slipped from his lips and he rolled his eyes at Kyouya’s display at trying to be a badass. He wanted to kick this guy’s ass since Day 1, or at least spar with him — but the guy always avoided him. Hayato wasn’t going to take his mocking anymore, fuck no he was going to show this asshole how great he was at fighting. Hayato’s eyes glew and he thought for a second about how worthy he was to be The vongola boss’ right-hand man. The guardian slipped out of his thoughts, and he went back to preparing to battle this man. Hayato’s lips upturned, ready to strike this guy right in his untouched sculptured jaw.

Hayato stumbled back, he was hit directly in the face with Kyouya’s tonfa — rage overwhelmed his body and he rubbed at the mark that was defined on his face. He knew that was going to leave a fucking bruise for later. Hayato whipped his head over to see where Kyouya was running off to. He clenched his teeth and his fist when he saw that asshole that disgrace that unworthy piece of shit was marching his unskilled ass to The vongola boss. The vongola boss raised his eyebrows and he slid down in his seat, adjusting his suit’s tie. He acted as if nothing of importance was happening, and he went back to organizing the desk that was piled with paperwork. The spikey haired brunette was concerned for Hayato, but he knew that The guardian would compose himself soon and hopefully be more mature about the situation at hand. “I don’t understand what you mean, Kyouya. I agree that Hayato was being a bit childish. But this is serious matters at stake.” he lifted a brow at Kyouya’s figure that hovered over him.

The vongola boss knew Kyouya and how he was, he’s known him for a bit like everyone else. He was actually glad to see the other male, it would be nice to catch up but it didn’t seem like Kyouya wanted to catch up with anyone right about now. “Now, Kyouya this isn’t a sick prank. You do need to learn to work with other people sometimes. I know you do your own thing, but sometimes it’s good to socialize.” he nodded to the outraged cloud guardian. The spikey haired brunette shook is head a bit in frustration and he stretched in his seat. Sure, Kyouya’s rage could be scary once in awhile but you get used to it — well he did since he had taken on a lot of angry people before. “I’d really appreciate it if you did this mission without either of you stepping down. It’d give you both a lot of practice so that whenever you see eachother by some chance, it won’t end up into a childish scuffle.” he tapped the arm of his chair patiently.

Hayato was listening in on the conversation, completely furious and frustrated with the fact that he made such a humiliating scene out of himself infront of The boss. He stormed his way over to The cloud guardian and yanked him away from The boss and he shoved him to the side angrily. Hayato stepped infront of The boss and he stared Kyouya down. “You can throw your anger around at me, but not at The boss.” he grumbled lowly. The vongola boss laughed nervously at Hayato’s antics and he told him to move aside for a moment, and once Hayato had moved — he stepped over to Kyouya.

“Kyouya, it’d mean a lot.” he smiled. “When this is over, you can do whatever you want.” he lifted one finger showing that it’d be only one time he’d be stuck with Hayato.

“I don’t need to socialize.” The cloud guardian hissed, his voice just dripping with venom. “Let alone with that undisciplined dog of yours..” Trailing off, Hibari glanced over his shoulder to glare at the storm guardian, who was glaring right back at him with just as much rage and hatred he felt towards the other. Although the skylark had indeed grown more cooperative over the years and had also learned to interact with people without attacking them first thing with his tonfas, he still loathed crowding. He still very much preferred to be on his own and do things on his own and in his own ways without being influenced by anyone. The same principles applied even if he was the Vongola’s cloud guardian. Whenever situation called for it, he’d assist the Vongola in his own pace without getting himself involved with the rest of the guardians nor allies - and despite how some of the guardians questioned his loyalty to the Vongola due to his method, the Decimo has never complained and he’s also been understanding.. but for him to suddenly toss the skylark into a situation like this, the raven-haired was feeling a tad betrayed..

Those piercing blues flicking back to Tsunayoshi, the cloud guardian folded his arms across his chest with a set expression. “I refuse to babysit your loyal dog, so go get your other guardians to participate in this boy-scout assignment inste- ..!” before he could finish, he suddenly felt himself being yanked back and rudely shoved to the side. Hibari blinked rapidly, before a feral growl tore free from his lips as his gaze lifted to lock with Gokudera’s stare, blue depths now brimming with unveiled blood-lust. A twisted smirk perching his lips as he watched the storm guardian display a pathetic attempt on acting as the Decimo’s right-hand man, his hands swiftly whipped out his tonfas; slender digits flexing around the handle the way they did whenever the raven-haired was anticipating a nice blood-shed. Screw acting civil and screw the fact that they were in Decimo’s office. Hibari was beyond pissed and he wanted nothing more than to bite that idiot dog to death. As painfully as possible.

Don’t mind if I do, then.~” he crooned maliciously and just as he was about to pounce the storm guardian, his target stepped aside only for Tsunayoshi to replace that spot. Emitting another growl in sheer frustration, he glowered at the brunette who was still trying to convince him to take part in this ridiculous mission. How annoyingly stubborn.. “…” After staring at the vongola boss for a long minute, the skylark finally stepped out of his hostile stance with a resigned sigh - looking not even the least happy. “..You owe me a spar after I’m back from this stupid mission, Tsunayoshi. And we’re fighting ‘til we drop.” Then his gaze slid towards the storm guardian with a sneer. “..And don’t be surprised if your loyal dog somehow ends up going M.I.A on this mission..”

Tsuna was getting rather agitated with the two enraged idiotic males in his office. Seriously, can’t he run into one person that agrees with everything he says. Oh wait. Gokudera does that, but the right-hand man tended to get into arguments with a lot of his friends that Hayato didn’t really like so very much. Which was mostly everybody Tsuna has ever had the decency to meet. The spikey haired boss let out a long sigh. “Kyouya, this is the only time i’m asking of you to work with somebody.” his eyes locked with Kyouya’s dark pools. “If you complete this mission for me, you can beat the shit out of Hayato whenever you want.” he smiled with a hint of amusement. Maybe if those two actually got into a fist fight and battled it out till dawn, they’d finally shut up. Tsuna didn’t doubt Kyouya’s abilities, he didn’t understand why the dark haired demon was so angered by this. He knew that Kyouya and Hayato would be able to finish this mission up in a few seconds. They both were good candidates, and he really needed both of their strength and intelligence to complete this for The Boss. It’d also help Kyouya out a lot with his conversational skills that needed to be boosted just a touch. If Kyouya wanted to ignore Tsuna for days after this, then whatever.

Tsuna had watched Hayato and Kyouya’s ridiculous display. Once Hayato had moved out of the way, because of Tsuna’s command — he had brought the topic back up to the raven colored carnivore. “Please, will you two stop fighting in here for a few seconds.” a sigh had escaped past his lips once more and he ruffled his spikey hair. “I thought you two were guardians. Lambo would handle this conversation better than the both of you.” he smiled once more, Tsuna really knew how to poke these two in the nerves. He perked up when he heard Kyouya begin to agree to the mission with Hayato. “Thank you, Kyouya. I’ll be sure to give you a well fought out battle once you return. As long as you aren’t already beat up by Hayato.” he laughed. “And i doubt Hayato will end up missing. Dogs always end up running back to their Master’s.” he grinned playfully, throwing his arms over his head to stretch once more.

“I’ll see you two later at the end of this mission. Don’t kill each other.” he handed them both the mission paper, and then flopped right back down in his seat — turning it away to face his desk where he could rest his head on the paperwork to complete an afternoon nap.
